The Patterson Family
Randy and Shelia have “kicked around” the idea of having me photograph their family for years now.
It would always be a passing thought, “Oh one of these days we’re going to have you take our family photos.” But that day never came. Since they have two adult children, both attending different colleges, scheduling was understandably a real challenge.
But, as luck would have it, the stars recently aligned and all four of them were together at the same time. When I found this out, I was determined to make these photos happen! I took a little nudging, and being flexible with my schedule, but we were able to nail down a time for their session.
We did some exploring around Shelby Park in East Nashville, one of my favorite photo spots.
You may know that I’m a sucker for great light. On this day, there was a little sunlight left that just glowed in the background of the first few shots.
Nothing like a little brotherly-sisterly love!
Randy is a total goofball in the best kind of way, so this shot was fitting.
Married over 25 years if I’m not mistaken!
A special moment between a dad and his daughter.
A family that sticks together.
I’m so glad we finally made this photo session happen. I love the authenticity that oozes out of these photos and this family. I’m thankful to call them friends!
Great picture’s of a great family! So glad you got them all together at once! They will cherish these pictures for years to come!
Thanks Marta! I agree, it’s worth making the effort to get the family together and make lasting memories.
