Planning Consultation – This is my chance to start learning about your family. We’ll also plan out the details of your session, and start thinking about what you want to do with your photos.
Photo Session – Since we’ve already discussed what you want, we’ll make sure to capture exactly the images you’re looking for. Photo sessions are relaxed and fun, and usually over before you know it.
Ordering Appointment – The ordering appointment is your first chance to see your photos, and the easiest way to purchase prints and products. I’ll guide you through the process of choosing your favorite images, and deciding what you want to do with them. We can meet in the comfort of your home, or my studio office if you prefer.
Artwork Installation – Ever tried hanging your own photos before? Sit back and relax while I do the hard work and install them for you.
What Should We Wear?
For many families, this can be the most stressful part of family photos. Relax, I’ve got you covered! During your planning consultation, I’ll help you start thinking about your entire family’s wardrobe. I’ll provide you with a style guide from a professional wardrobe stylist. You’ll also have access to my exclusive Pinterest board with great outfit ideas for any season. My clients often talk about how thankful they are for this service.
What Happens if it Rains?
Inclement weather is a reality in our lovely part of the country. Your session is a priority, so I will do everything I can to make sure it takes place. Often times when rain is in the forecast, we can move the session up or down an hour and avoid it. If it absolutely pours buckets all day, then we’ll re-schedule. I keep certain days open throughout the year to allow for this. Typically, I wait until the day before to check the forecast and make a final decision about the weather. I’ve never lost a session to bad weather, so no need to worry here!
What Happens After the Session?
Most of my clients choose to build their own package of high-quality artwork such as canvas wraps and storybook photo albums. You have the freedom to create whatever you would like with your images.
If you are only looking for a few small prints, then I may not be the best fit for your needs. I believe in creating lasting memories that build a strong sense of family unity. I believe this is best accomplished by bringing your images to life in your home.
How Much Should I Plan to Invest?
After your consultation, a session fee of $300 is required to secure your session date. This covers my time, services and creativity. After your session, all prints and products, including digital images, are purchased à la carte during your ordering appointment. This way you can choose what is most important to you.
What Prints and Products Do You Offer?
Wall Art – The best way to showcase your favorite images is by hanging them on your wall where you’ll see them everyday. I offer beautiful, high quality canvas wraps that you’ll want to stare at all day long.
Canvas Collections – multiple canvas wraps arranged as one piece
Individual Wall Portraits – canvas wraps or float frames
Storybook Albums – Albums are a fantastic way to preserve and enjoy all of the images from your session. I custom design your album, and we work together until it’s just the way you like it. All albums come with a durable hard cover and thick, lay-flat pages for easy viewing. They’re made by hand to last a lifetime.
Family Albums – 20 pages, linen cover
Luxury Albums – 20 pages, leather cover, hand-crafted album box
Gift Prints – Traditional prints, great for extended family, offices or small rooms
