Some weddings are slow and structured. Some are quick and simplistic. And some weddings are just one big party. Kevin and Miranda’s wedding was one big party!
For starters, they chose to have their reception and ceremony at Kevin’s childhood home in Clarksville, Tennessee. Kevin is a master landscaper, and Miranda definitely has an eye for decor. So it only made sense that they would take on the task of transforming this property into a top-notch wedding venue. Let me tell you, they knocked it out of the park. No detail was spared, and they spent tireless hours to get it just right. In the end, it was a beautiful setting for their big day.
Adding to the fun, they had family in from all over the country. Of course, that always makes for a good time! We did four (count’em, f-o-u-r) first looks with the lovely bride. One with Kevin, one with dad, one with twin sister Toni, and one with best friend Roddy. Phew, it was a lot, but it was fun!
From there, the reception was picturesque, with a nice gazebo backdrop and wrap-around seating. Afterward, we whisked away the newly married couple for a stunning sunset shot. Then the party kicked into high gear, and didn’t stop until well into the evening.
It was a true joy to be a part of Kevin and Miranda’s wedding. I can’t wait for their family to grow so we can get back together and take more photos. As I left, Miranda grabbed me and said “You’re family now.” That says it all.
