Meet the Wurth Family of Brentwood. It didn’t take much to find their comfort zone in front of the camera. We tried out a few new spots at Smith Park in Brentwood, including the back porch of the old mansion. I love the traditional look with the white fence and columns. With two high energy kids, this shoot was fun from start to finish!
Meet the Driver Family. I’m not sure if I’ve ever met a more pleasant family. Mom and I dialed up some fun Spring colors for their session, punctuated by her vibrant red top. It played perfectly with her daughter’s pink and red dress tones, and really popped well with the red barn accents at Smith Park. This is an example of a well-styled session, folks!
We enjoyed a nice stroll around the park, highlighting the fences, barns, and walkway that make Smith Park a hallmark for family sessions. We captured a few nice formal poses, but also some fun candids. I especially liked the dad/son and mother/daughter photos towards the end. There’s nothing better than a family that’s united together!
Talk about a sweet family! These three adorable little ladies were so fun and energetic in their matching spring dresses. Mom chose a beautiful yellow dress and looked fantastic, and this dad had a way with his girls, let me tell you. It was a delight watching them play “tag” together at the end of our shoot.
After the session, we designed a fabulous wall collection of five canvas prints for the family playroom. What a special memory this will be for years to come!
What a delightful session this was! With a two year old running around like a whirlwind, and a newborn with bright, beautiful eyes, the joy was overflowing. I especially enjoyed seeing this dad interact with his girls. A true pleasure to photograph 🙂
Even on a cloudy winter day, a little soft window light and some smiling faces are all you need. We took these portraits in the family’s great room, with a large wall of windows to the side. The beautiful light cascading in was better than any studio flash money could buy.
With 6 children already grown and gone, this session was the perfect time to make lasting memories before their youngest son graduates. Together, we hand-selected several of the images from their session to be printed and framed on their family photo wall. Now they’ll always be able to look back and appreciate this time in their lives 🙂
